Tara Cuffee is a Doctoral Practicum Intern at The Renewed Freedom Center. She received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2017. In 2015, she earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise in psychology.
Ms. Cuffee’s experience includes providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults suffering from a multitude of disorders in an inpatient setting. Specifically, she provided psychotherapy to individuals suffering from schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Also, she has experience conducting interventions with families.
Ms. Cuffee is passionate about encouraging individuals to discover and utilize the resources within them to tackle any issues they encounter in their daily life. In the future, she would like to conduct psychotherapy and other psychological interventions with veterans, active-duty military and their families that are transitioning to civilian life. Her services are provided under the license and supervision of Jennifer Lynch, Psy.D. (PSY30626).
