Dr. Ryan Silverman earned his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego campus. He completed his internship and post-doctoral training at WellSpan Philhaven in York, Pennsylvania where he utilized a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach when working with adults, children, and couples. Dr. Silverman has experience in a wide range of treatment settings including a long-term outpatient center and primary care offices, where he addressed mental and chronic health-related diseases. Dr. Silverman has experience treating a wide range of disorders including anxiety, mood, trauma and substance abuse. He utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness when treating Hoarding, OCD, Specific Phobias, and Panic Disorder.
Dr. Silverman appreciates how difficult life can become when symptoms interfere with one’s well-being and responsibilities at home and work. Taking this into consideration, Dr. Silverman prioritizes creating a safe, trusting environment where patients can acquire both short and long-term symptom relief.
